     As a child growing up near Sweetwater, TN, I always loved to paint and make crafts, and I still do.  I enjoy painting on things that are different, from old antiques to turkey feathers.  For me, painting is a great stress reliever.  My interest has always been in Native American and wildlife art.

     Each summer, my husband Birch and I travel to the west.  My camera is always ready to photograph any wildlife and the spectacular scenery of the Rocky Mountains.  The trips give me great inspiration to come home and paint.

     At shows I enjoy the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the country.  I love seeing their reaction as they see a painting on a turkey tail for the first time and knowing that they enjoy looking at what I have created.
